Sr. Software Engineer (multiple openings)

• JOB DUTIES: Requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, application support and maintenance. Specific duties include: Analyze, design and write business and technical requirements.  Develop application requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the business community.   Develop/execute test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements.  Review project deliverables for completeness and quality and compliance with established project standards.   Perform requirements gathering, light project management, and testing based on requirements.   Design and coordinate with application teams for application life cycle related survey.  Analyze the survey data and present the survey analysis and statistics of applications to senior management.  Work with key business partners to evolve capabilities within the core components, balanced with technical needs for stability and performance.   Work with architecture team to generate and publish roadmaps for application upgrade and refresh, which involves scheduling application changes throughout the year so as to avoid bulk changes for all applications at the same time.  Designed and developed JAVA application to automate code checkin and deployment.  Write test cases for Unit Level Testing.  Build and Deploy various WebSphere related application using automated tools like RTC, Build Forge, BladeLogic.  Write Oracle PL/SQL scripts.   Configure and administer WebSphere Application Servers.  Work with JAVA, Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX, Eclipse, IDEA Intellij, Accurev, GIT, Toad, JIRA, TestRail, WebSphere, Tomcat and Web Services.

 JOB REQUIREMENT: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields plus 2 years of experience.  In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience.  Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.  We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.  Experience to include JAVA, Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX, Eclipse, IDEA Intellij, Accurev, GIT, Toad, JIRA, TestRail, WebSphere, Tomcat and Web Services.

 HOURS: 40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

 WORK LOCATION 43745 Nansa Court, Fremont, CA 94539.  Travel not required but must be willing to relocate to unanticipated cities across the country per contract demand.
